Job Description:
Business Developer will apply their expertise and experience in the trucking industry to establish and grow revenue opportunities. Developer will focus on establishing relationships with new Owner Operators and Freight Agents by emphasizing our Program offerings and establishing relationships with our partner carriers. Business Developer will report to Director of Business Development and pay is based on experience and will be variable based.

- Recruit Owner Operators to lease on with company(s)
- Identify and pursue Fleet Owners and Brokers to partner with in truckline and brokerage to help grow revenue and increase truck count
- Identify challenges and provide innovative solutions based on company offerings, services, and core values
- Attend trade shows to increase brand recognition and cultivate relationships to insure growth in revenue and fleet volume.
- Consort with management and development teams to establish and execute techniques to identify and pursue opportunities
- Other duties assigned by Management.
Must perform duties to the standards of the job description and comply with the company’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of trucking industry experience. Preferably in sales, recruitment, and business development.
- Highly skilled in communication, CRM/lead management, and collaboration.
- Travel 10-15 days per month
- Growth and Solutions oriented mindset
Education and/or Experience:
High-School education (Associates degree preferred), GED holder, or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
